Artists Statement

I am mesmerised by both the rawness and the fragility of life. As a naturally sensitive and shy person, I do adore thrills and challenges and the raw and wild side of life.

Following my intuition and living for myself is the only way. Discovering deeper layers of self, taking risks on a daily basis with the desire to be my most true self. I seek the wild side, adventure and details that make me smile and get me high on life.

This connection with courage, fragility and raw aspects of life intertwine with my deep longing to create from my inner child. Unspoiled, untaught, unleashed and wild. I always was the wild child, but started to hide this due to societal roles.

I see my function as similar to an adventurer in the wilderness. The quest I am on is based on going back to my origin, the wild child. And the more I’ll be able to read and follow the natural way the closer I’ll get to being wild again.

On my trips I will encounter many obstacles and invisible traps but also enclosed ravines, mountains, perfect mornings and blue skies.

Maybe my work is the roadmap for others can follow, that we are indeed on one big adventure together. That all those tiny markers on the roadside are worth it to follow. That we are all born to be wild, and that our voices matter.

That every human has a right to live and be. As we are all wild, in the end.
